Once you switch to firefox browser can you go back to ie?default browser

you can't get rid of ie; it will always be there. So just use Firefox and if you don't like it, don't use it or uninstall it and go back to ie. You can open both browsers at the same time and compare them; but only one will be your default browser. Both IE and Firefox wll ask you if you want to make it your default browser.

Of course. I'd suggest keeping IE though because certain things aren't supported by Firefox.
You can always run IE. You should never uninstall IE becausge windows is so integrated into it (used for updates for example).
You don't have to uninstall IE to use Firefox. I have both and switch back and forth as needed..
IE is still on your computer. Firefox doesn't erase it or overwrite it. You can even use both at once, if you wanted to.

However there is no reason you SHOULD ever go back to IE. Ever.
You can have them both installed at the same time. You can even have them both OPEN at the same time.

But the truth is, I have never seen anyone voluntarily go back to IE after they know what a good browser like Firefox (or Camino) can do. The only times I ever use IE are for the very small number of sites that insist on IE. Yeccchh.
I am not so up to scratch with computers but I have both on my comp.Sometimes i use the one and sometimes the other and I have not found any problems yet.
I guarantee once you use Firefox, you will never go back. For the pages which are specifically written for Internet Explorer only, just download the IE tab in Firefox. That way when you hit one of those pages, you just click on the tab and it will bring it up in IE.

You can adjust the javascript or active x in your Firefox just as in IE.
Yes, you can use both ie and/or firefox as a browser. just make sure you don't remove your ie program from your computer. I have both on mine because of some certain sites that won't load when I use firefox... I then will access the site with ie...
yes you can have any number of browsers. and click which one you want to run at the time. just setup icons for each. i have 4 on this computer.
you don't need to uninstall ie to install firefox. but once firefox is installed you will need to make it your default browser or everything will still open in ie.

here is how to make it your default browser
