Will rhodium finished .925 sterling silver have any negative affects on the skin ie..color change? T

My fiance likes sterling silver better than white gold. Will .925 sterling silver change the color of the skin ie...turn it green or black? What about rhodium finished sterling?

Thank you in advance!!

I work at Swarovski and all our jewelry is rhodium or ruthenium which is a little darker than rhodium, almost like pewter. It's a derivative of platinum so it will not tarnish and is nickel free which is good because nickel is usually the cause of allergic reactions. Sterling will tarnish and can turn skin green or black like you said. With that said, rhodium is better than sterling silver.
