Instead of reporting posts you dont like why not counter argue them? Ie no cheating to win debates by censorsh and hiding behind terms like innapropiateness or blasphemy or insulting faiths or oh the kids must not see it.

EWhy not thet wayt they get an education.

And if you cases is stronger and right why not debate it openly and back up your startements insteal of telling tales to hide the info that proves you wrong or makes people think and question.

Likewise why ot check the links people post. they post them for a reson showing why they think the way they do and posting evidence to back up their case.

i don't report questions i don't like, or answers i don't agree with.

so, i agree with you. it takes a very small minded person to report someone just because they don't agree with them.

I don't report post I don't like or if i don't agree with the persons views. I like to come up with intelligent arguments for or against views, it gives my brain a good workout.

However, if someone is being abusive then i would report that post.

I think a lot of people do debate but there are some posts/threads/trolls/people who you can't debate or are too offencive for words

There are also links that are either racist or homophobic or similar hatred

Edit: Plus some trolls will not listen to anything and some people are stuck in their viewpoint, a few examples I can think of is I got abused for pointing out the dictionary definition of words plus I've also found someone who wouldn't accept the fact that if people are treated differently by laws then it's quite possible that the people will who this affects will be discriminated against in various ways

Agreed. Yet we have to take the Good with the Bad. And sometimes, even with the Ugly.

Some people are simply MALICIOUS and VINDICTIVE in their ways. We know that it does not come from man's basic instincts, or are among our natural human traits. Instead, it is something that is LEARNED from others who revel in their HATRED and BIGOTRY towards those who do not conform with their particular ideologies.

This apparent form of insecurity is more commonly found coming from the less educated, ill-mannered, ignorant, and even arrogant people who prefer to remain in their dark shadows but have found a weapon to "silence" --i.e., to censure-- others who simply don't agree with them. With such a weapon, they can keep their hypocrisy intact and remain unscathed while they bask and gloat behind their contrived personas or masked avatars. And many are known to have multiple accounts for their own hidden agendas.

But it is a weapon that has been provided by Y!A nonetheless...

And using such a tool against them not only diminishes the free exchange of helpful information we may find in this platform, but it also minimizes one's posture to a much lower, childish level with nothing much to be gained, nor left to be desired.

In short, until the gods of R%26amp;S change the Rules of Engagement here, we are simply left with Much Ado About Nothing...

I agree. I was reported just yesterday, because somebody, asker probably, didn't like the answer I gave to their question "Wouldn't you be scared to fly on a plane with a female pilot?'' I thought that was a stupid question because if you're working as a pilot you have to be qualified. Just shows what a chauvinistic pig he was. I have never reported anybody. I just debate them but some of them only want answers that pander to there opinion. The one whose answer was just below mine got reported too.
